Providing access to a range of digital tools which could help employees to monitor and boost their own health and well-being.

In February 2017 Public Health England launched its digital strategy which was designed to open up discussion both across the health service and into the wider public arena.  The discussion document which accompanied the launch commented that: “This is a time of digital innovation. Technology is continually changing the way people live, interact, learn, play and work.” It went on to highlight the importance of digital technology in today’s world with one of the PHE’s six drivers of change being the use of “new behavioural change techniques combined with digital and mobile technology.”

Using digital strategies to improve people’s lives and livelihoods isn’t simply a matter for PHE. When you think about it, people have themselves taken the first steps towards a digital health strategy by adopting a variety of digital tools from fitness apps to healthy eating programs. Employers too can play their part by providing access to a range of digital tools which could help employees to monitor and boost their own health and well-being.

Culture Consultancy works with businesses to identify the optimum mix of digital health tools which can help with employee engagement and wellbeing.  To start your digital health journey, get in touch and book an initial assessment today.
